MY EXPERIENCE
Roles & Responsibilities
7TH GRADE MATH TEACHER, COA MIDDLE SCHOOL
March 2020 - Present
Working with COA Middle Schoolers has been a pleasure. Students bring many unique personalities to the classroom, and the contributions they make to the classroom culture makes them unforgettable. Each year my students leave a mark on my heart.
PRE-CALCULUS AND CALCULUS TEACHER, FUTURES HIGH SCHOOL
January 2019 - May 2019
Working with Juniors and Seniors is always a pleasure. They are unique in that they are ready to be treated as grown ups, even thought they still have so much to learn.
IM1/IM2 LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE TEACHER, FUTURES HIGH SCHOOL
August 2017Â - November 2017
Teaching ninth graders was one of my most challenging experiences as a teacher. It instilled some fear in me to teach that grade level, but it also taught me to be strong and caused me to sober up. I realized that teaching was a challenging job and it wasn't for everyone. But if it is for you, then the bad experiences will not hold you back in pursuing the career further.
